changes in progress

Now after i have started coding, I started to make some changes and playing with sizes so far there are 5 links: about me, portfolio, photography, contact, and resume. The home page box sizes have changed to 980px by 680px as the solid frame that stay's the same through the navigation and the content box that changes will be 770px by 471px. Right now in trying to figure out how to link the nav tabs to change only the content box. I am also researching how to do light box as well as a slide show for images... But until then I'm just waiting on the content from my client, which i should get tomorrow, so ill keep everyone posted when i make more progress.

pre-layout sketch

Web- HTML coding at USF

Hello, I am making a web site for my classmate as an assignment for my Internet Class in the Graphic Design Program at USF. Angela Wants a simple Page with unique photos featuring her work and her style.

The page will have one frame with a banner that stays in view and stationary throughout the viewers experience. The banner will contain a photo that Angela takes of work hanging on a clothesline. I in turn, will add text Navigation tabs to the work allowing the user to click on them to navigate the page to the desired location. The body will have a vertical scroll containing all their information; gallery, about me, contact info, etc. And lastly a footer but we have yet decided if the footer will be stationary with the rest of the page or if it will be located at the bottom of the scrolling body.

In this process i will look up how to add nice features such as light box's and slide show box's for the gallery, so let me know if you have any good tutorials that might help ; )

Angela will be graduating in the spring and this site is suppose to help her make connections with potential clients and open many new opportunities...
