so we started beta testing yesterday and we found some boo boos, we had some cap letters in our code and we used center in our html instead of our css, so after we fixed that....it happened
explorer broke our site.. and made it its B-och
after freaking out and going through our code searching for an error our awesome professor asked if we saved our images as RGB and sure enough i saved it as CMYK, so after we converted it everything was peachy...
we still need to adjust a few thing and are waiting on pic STILL from our client but over all its all coming together
Yeah simple errors that are hard to figure out. With our last website I had a problem with one of my images and it turns out it was saved as img.png but was actually a photoshop file! Very confusing
ReplyDeleteStuff like that scares me, it seems to float right over my head. I 'm glad you guys figured out a solution for your awesome image and changed it to rgb so that it is not broken anymore. Our group had alot of warning in a javascript we used but apparently they weren't our errors. I'm hoping we don't stumble on mistake from here on out. We have not tested across as many browsers as we would like so that will be our next scary task. Glad you guys had a successful test day. - Jenessa
