Web- HTML coding at USF

Hello, I am making a web site for my classmate as an assignment for my Internet Class in the Graphic Design Program at USF. Angela Wants a simple Page with unique photos featuring her work and her style.

The page will have one frame with a banner that stays in view and stationary throughout the viewers experience. The banner will contain a photo that Angela takes of work hanging on a clothesline. I in turn, will add text Navigation tabs to the work allowing the user to click on them to navigate the page to the desired location. The body will have a vertical scroll containing all their information; gallery, about me, contact info, etc. And lastly a footer but we have yet decided if the footer will be stationary with the rest of the page or if it will be located at the bottom of the scrolling body.

In this process i will look up how to add nice features such as light box's and slide show box's for the gallery, so let me know if you have any good tutorials that might help ; )

Angela will be graduating in the spring and this site is suppose to help her make connections with potential clients and open many new opportunities...

  1. I really like the idea of hanging her work on the clothsline because this will set her work and website apart with a unique style. I also like the preliminary sketch you have made, it looks very clean and simple for easy navigation.

  2. It would be cool if the clothesline banner or whatever was really big so that when the page expanded you could see more stuff hanging on the clothesline. Lightbox is legit.

  3. Hey Christie,
I also really like the idea of the clothsline. It would be cool if that was incorporated into the portfolio page. like clicking on one of them make it pop up with the details. That might be a little bit to much though. just a thought.
