alpha testing
so here's some issues we need to fix on our site:
-when you turn java script off the home page slide show stacks downward
-need to add an active state in the sub menus to help user see what page there on
- we cant realy change the menu size but we do have a pdf of the menu thats larger that were going to add as a link
-still working on a background solution
-site is huge in 800x600 but we cant seen to win In every size, we need to make some sacrifices
:and so we keep working

come on...errr
so our client runs the place mostly by himself...the problem with that is
"ya ill get you some pic"-bill
"hey (a week later) was hoping to pick up those pic's"-me
"OH CRAP, sorry i forgot I'm so busy"-bill
"OK well we only have until the 29th max to get them in the site"-me
"OK OK that's perfect ill call you sat with the pic's"- bill
so i still haven't hear from him and I'm having doubts about them magically appearing Mon,
so were prob going to have to talk to Phil about keeping the place holder images we took of him making pasta in the slide show due to the lack of content we are getting from the client..hum. it kinda changes our look we were going for but what can you do.

Beta testing
so we started beta testing yesterday and we found some boo boos, we had some cap letters in our code and we used center in our html instead of our css, so after we fixed that....it happened
explorer broke our site.. and made it its B-och
after freaking out and going through our code searching for an error our awesome professor asked if we saved our images as RGB and sure enough i saved it as CMYK, so after we converted it everything was peachy...
we still need to adjust a few thing and are waiting on pic STILL from our client but over all its all coming together

fixed it...almost
So we have solved our background issue...kinda
our group "with the help of our Bulgarian friend ; P", discover photo merge in photoshop which allowed our to combine 12 bad images to make one complete one. So, we used this image and were cutting it our, color correcting it and putting it on a background so that across browsers our background image doesn't repeat or look funny
yay team work

Vote on a background image
so our group is trying to solve the background image issue of... when the window is stretched we should have another image behind it. So because our original images aren't backed up enough to do this which solution do u like...
A- the original image with wood cutting board behind
or
B- a new image that's not cropped with a marble background
!!!keep in mind whats in the white outline is what would pop up originally, you would only see the rest if you were to stretch the window larger

Fixing a few thingypograp
Yay! we passed our proposal for the site and have generic coding done so now er have to fix all of our issues.
First we must battle with the client in order to change font and whether we are using Bella Cuisina in the title.
Also, we want to lose the grapes... we will see what bill says.
We need to figure our the sizing on our background image and possibly make a div to hope the whole thing.
Next we need to add a 15-20% transparency behind the typography, to help legibility.
we will just keep working... and keep u posted ; )
